Carl Warmington (1907-2006) was a social worker who spent several years working for the Men's Bureau in Minneapolis' Gateway District or "skid row." The photographs in this collection were taken in the area around the Anchor hotel, the Men's Bureau, the Union City Mission, and the Gateway District. Mr. Warmington donated this collection to the Library over a period of several years from 1992-2006.
