Over 100 photographs of downtown Minneapolis streets and intersections from the early 1940s. Donated by the Zalusky family.
Joseph W. Zalusky was a director of the Hennepin History Museum, the author of several articles on Minnesota history, and a lifelong advocate for local history and the preservation of historical sites. Zalusky made this photographic survey of downtown Minneapolis intersections in the early 1940s. These photographs, along with hundreds of books, pamphlets and other historical documents, were donated to the Library by Zalusky's children.
